Terms of service.

Collection Service

  1. PARIS BEGUIN LTD will send you an email entitled ‘Order Acceptance’ to confirm your purchase, the date and time to come and collect your order(s). The address where to come and pick your order(s) up will also be indicated on the ‘Order Acceptance’.

  2. You cannot come and collect your purchase on Mondays or Tuesdays. I am closed these two consecutive days.

  3. The time of collection is only from 10am to 6pm. Any visit before or after this slot will not be answered and no order will be given.

  4. An exception on the time of collection can exceptionally be asked by writing to me at pastry.chef@parisbeguin.co.uk. It will only have been accepted by PARIS BEGUIN LTD if the specific time of collection is written on the Order Acceptance.

  5. All orders must be placed 72 hours minimum before the time of collection following the Order Acceptance which should be sent to you within 24 hours.

  6. The Order Acceptance is not when the payment has been accepted but when and only when an email entitled ‘Order Acceptance’ has been sent by PARIS BEGUIN LTD.

  7. All orders must be checked by the customer at the time of collection. Any complaint about the appearance of them later will not be reviewed by PARIS BEGUIN LTD.

  8. Any photos on the website are noncontractual. Your order may vary as all cakes are handmade and I am using fresh natural fruit. Therefore, there may be slight natural variations in appearance.

Cancellations

  1. Please note that if you cancel between 14 days to 4 days prior to collection date you will receive a maximum of 50% of the order total.

  2. In the event of cancellations within 72hrs of collection, PARIS BEGUIN LTD reserves the right to retain the total value of the order to cover costs.

  3. Please note if you place an order for collection within 72hrs you are ordering it in a non-cancellation period and you cannot amend, alter or cancel it once placed.

  4. Once your order has been fulfilled, no amendments or cancellations can be made.

  5. If your order has been placed before the required 72 hours before the time of collection following the Order Acceptance, PARIS BEGUIN LTD will not be able to satisfy your order. If the payment for it went through, PARIS BEGUIN LTD will pay you back within 15 working days with a 3% fee.

Returns

  1. Perishable goods such as food unfortunately cannot be returned. 

Customers Complaints

I work hard at PARIS BEGUIN LTD to ensure your complete satisfaction with my products. But nobody is infallible so please, let me know what went wrong to help me improve my services. 

  1. If you aren't satisfied with the condition of a food product that you collect following an online purchase, please let me know when you will check it at the time of collection. According to what the issue is, I will do my best to offer you some compensation within 15 working days.

  2. If you aren't satisfied with the quality of your cake following an online purchase, please contact me : pastry.chef@parisbeguin.co.uk. I give all complaints urgent attention. Every complaint will be acknowledged within 5 working days and will endeavour to resolve the matter within 15 working days.

Refunds (if applicable)

  1. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or the original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

  2. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

  3. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.  

Terms of Service

  1. PARIS BEGUIN LTD cakes are handmade, using fresh natural fruit. Therefore, there may be slight natural variations in appearance.

  2. I reserve the right to replace unavailable components with those of equal or better quality.

  3. At the time of collection you will be asked to check the appearance of the cake. Please take the time to inspect the order, as PARIS BEGUIN LTD cannot take any responsibility for visible errors not identified and shown at this point.

Allergies Warning

  1. If a product is listed as ‘free from’, all safety measures have been put into place to minimise any risks of cross contamination. 

  2. However, products containing allergens are made on my premises. While I take steps to control the risks, I cannot guarantee that any of my products are safe to consume for people with allergies. For a full list of ingredients on the products within my product range, please check the description written for each product sold on the website.

Access / Majeur Force

  1. In the event I cannot fulfil my obligation to you under this agreement due to any event beyond my reasonable control, I will do my best to notify you and as such I will be relieved of my obligations to you under these terms and conditions to the extent that my service is hindered by such an event.

Amendments & Variations

  1. PARIS BEGUIN LTD reserves the right to amend the terms of this Agreement from time to time. Your continued use of any part of the website after any such amendment will constitute your acceptance of the amendment or amendments concerned. You should therefore regularly visit these terms and conditions to ensure that you keep up to date with your rights and obligations under this Agreement. If any such amendments are considered in the reasonable opinion of PARIS BEGUIN LTD to be material, notice of the amendments will be emailed to all registered users of the website at their registered email address.

  2. If you do not wish to accept any amendments you should withdraw your registration to the website.

Using Material That Appears on PARIS BEGUIN LTD Website, newsletters, blogs or any other contents

  1. All right for the text, graphics, design of the site, computer codes and all other content or interfaces, and the selection and arrangements thereof (the <<Materials>>) belong to PARIS BEGUIN LTD or its licensors. You may print or download parts of this site and make copies of these for your own personal use only. Any other use (including without limitation any further reproduction, storage or transmission to anyone) of any Materials without our prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

Consequential Costs

  1. PARIS BEGUIN LTD will make every effort to create the cake you want and deliver it in perfect condition.

  2. In the unlikely event that this does not occur, PARIS BEGUIN LTD will take reasonable steps to rectify the situation.

  3. However, PARIS BEGUIN LTD does not accept any responsibility for consequential costs or emotional distress due to errors with products.

  4. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Newsletter: Subscription and Disclaimer

 1. If you choose to provide us with your email address or any other personally identifiable information, we will use it only to send you our newsletter or respond to your query.

If you choose to unsubscribe from the newsletters, you’ll stop receiving any newsletters.

2. PARIS BEGUIN LTD reserve all copyrights on text or images on the newsletters. You may print or download parts of this site and make copies of these for your own personal use only. Any other use (including without limitation any further reproduction, storage or transmission to anyone) of any Materials without our prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

3. You may choose to communicate with us via email. However, in case you do so, you should note that the security of internet e-mail is unreliable. By sending confidential or sensitive e-mail messages which are unencrypted you accept the risks of such uncertainty and possible breach of confidentiality or privacy over the internet.

4. The information contained in the newsletters is provided by PARIS BEGUIN LTD as a service/promotion to its users, subscribers, customers and possible others. It does not contain (legal) advice. Although we try to provide quality information, we do not guarantee results obtained from the use of this information, and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including, but not limited to warranties of performance for a particular purpose.

5. In no way PARIS BEGUIN LTD is liable to the user or any other party for any damages, costs of any character including but not limited to direct or indirect, consequential, incidental or other costs or damages, via the use of the information contained in the newsletters.
