
WHY this name?
A magical discovery in New York !
This poster has been in my kitchen since my husband and I bought it in 2009 in New York. We found it amazingly linked to who I am.
My maiden name is BÉGUIN and I am from Paris.
But what made me smile as soon as I saw this poster, was the use of the French phrase “j’ai le béguin pour toi.” which means “I have a crush on you.” So are you ready to have a crush on PARIS BEGUIN PATISSERIE ?
It only became the choice for my baking business when after some brainstorming with my friends and family, I came up with a name but my husband wasn’t sure about it. Then he showed me the poster and said “Here is your name ! He was right.
PARIS is not only where I am from but also where I trained and qualified as a pastry chef in 2015, as a chocolate & confectionery chef in 2016 and trained to become an ice cream chef as well in 2019 but I qualified in Vannes (Not possible in Paris !!!).
MY story
PARIS BEGUIN PATISSERIE is a newborn in the baking business but it has really started in 2013 when my husband and I had the opportunity to live in Paris for a few years. It was the right time for me as I wanted to change from teaching French to baking French pastries. After 6 years of training and qualifying in Paris, PARIS BEGUIN PATISSERIE is now open and sells a selection of French pastries, biscuits, viennoiseries and so much more online.
Passion and skill plus organic, natural ingredients and family secrets are the core of PARIS BEGUIN PATISSERIE.
MY INGREDIENTS
I work with as many organic and natural ingredients as possible. They are coming from different main suppliers.
I am a qualified French artisan who makes cakes to order with passion and care.
